Course Overview

Our Islamic Studies Course offers a comprehensive exploration of Islam as both a religion and a civilization. The course is divided into two parts, focusing on essential aspects of Islamic beliefs, rituals, and practices, as well as their influence on Muslim societies.

Part 1: Understanding Islamic Beliefs and Practices

In this section, we delve into the fundamentals of Islamic monotheism, drawing comparisons with other monotheistic faiths. Key themes from the Quran are examined, including the nature of God (Allah), the essence of humanity, concepts of free will and evil, the role of prophets (including significant biblical figures), and the diversity of religious beliefs. Additionally, we investigate how these fundamental beliefs manifest in Islamic rituals, collectively known as Shari'a.

Part 2: Exploring Islamic Civilization

This part of the course focuses on the historical evolution of Islamic beliefs and their profound impact on Muslim societies. We analyze how religious ideas have shaped social structures, political frameworks, and cultural practices within these communities. Discussions will highlight the interplay between faith and various aspects of Muslim life throughout history.
